About the Event

Dr. Doka is extensively published in the clinical lecture and books on Grief and End-of-Life Care issues under the auspices of the Hospice Foundation of America, where he continues to serve as a Senior Consultant. He will define Disenfranchised Grief in the context of COVID-19 including the lack of bereavement support and the role of ritual and the challenge of care.  He will signify the value of Virtual Support, during a time where in-person meetings are sometimes not possible, and discuss the implications for Bereavement Support Post COVID-19 Pandemic.
