Kim Kostival has a BS in Art Education from Kutztown University. She was a Certified Recreation Director for 9 years in a skilled nursing setting and 6 years in Assisted living setting, She was the Dementia Program Director for Berkshire Commons for 9 months and the Admission and Marketing Director for Berkshire Commons for the last 7 years.

Kim has 25+ years of working in the senior health care field.  During that time she gained knowledge of how to work with families, residents, and other professionals to gain the best care for the residents at Berkshire Commons.

On a personal level, Kim’s mother-in-law had Hospice care just prior to her death.  She understands the difficult decision and acceptance of other family members to utilize this care. She has also seen how hospice can be a wonderful asset for all involved throughout all her years in the healthcare field.

Kim’s involvement in the Circle Of Life Coalition demonstrates her commitment to the awareness and education within our community of end of life care. She is the chairperson of our flagship event each year which is our Annual Conference. Kim’s experience and expertise helps to make this annual event an outstanding success.
